The star of Philadelphia in Eagles, Saquon Barkley, criticized those who criticized him for dragging with President Donald Trump before the team visit to the White House to celebrate their victory at the Super Bowl.
Barkley was spotted on Trump’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, then returned to Washington on Air Force One with the president.

“Lol some people are really upset because I played golf and I took the plane to the White House with the president,” Barkley tweeted on Monday. “Maybe I respect the office, not a concept that is difficult to understand. There is no golf with Obama not so long ago … And I can’t wait to finish my tour with Trump! Now you go out my mentions with all this policy and spend an incredible day.”
Trump praised Barkley as he spoke to journalists before returning to DC
“What a nice guy he is. I wanted to run him, but I decided not to do it,” said the president.
Barkley will be one of the players and staff of the Eagles who will celebrate their victory for the Super Bowl in the White House later on Monday.

This followed the Eagles decision not to attend the White House in 2018 after winning the very first Super Bowl in the franchise.
Meanwhile, Trump canceled the invitation to welcome Eagles after several players said they would not participate in the visit due to his previous criticisms on the demonstrations of the national anthem.
