The commanders have published a nostalgic video showing the old time of the franchise, formerly known as Washington Redskins, playing in Washington, the winner winner of the Super Bowl, Joe Theismann, said the video.

“Time is now,” said Theismann. “Rames Washington to DC”

The franchise played at the RFK stadium from 1961 to 1996 before moving to Landover, Maryland, at the faculty now known as Northwest Stadium. The owner of the team, Josh Harris, had considered various sites for a new stadium since he bought the team from Daniel Snyder.

Congress legislators supported Harris’ prosecution to take control of the former RFK stadium site in the State that the team and the NFL would honor the former Redskins logo in one way or another. Senator Steve Daines, R-Mont., Said he would support the organization in the future with his plan after “good faith negotiations” with the two entities.

“We called leaders in case of really, the awakening was wrong. The irony that they canceled the Amerindian culture while the Dei movement was going too far,” said Daines in November. “It is honoring a chief of black person who was born in Montana. He is very estimated. The black feet of Montana, their current president and the tribal council signed a strong support letter to bring the logo. He honors the Indian country.

“We have good discussions with the NFL and with commanders. There is in good faith in the negotiations in the future which allow this logo to be again.

Harris said in August that 2030 was a “reasonable target” for a new stadium.
