The Braves d’Atlanta optionized the airfare Jarred Kelenic in Triple-A, about a week after being the controversy center in the clubhouse.
Ronald Acuña Jr., the Braves voltiseur, was an exception to manager Brian Snitker to a journalist after the skipper did not reprimand Kelenic for a lack of agitation during the team’s April 19 match.
Kelenic broke baseball on the right field, and he came out of the shot box as if it was going to be a home run. But when he hit the top of the wall and stayed inside the stadium, he tried to turn what should have been a single double.

Kelenic was thrown to the second goal, where he would probably have had a stand-up double if he had not jogging out of the box.
After the match, Snitker did not understand the question of the journalist on the Kelenic discipline, which led Acuña to express his opinion on X.
“If it was me, they would withdraw me from the game,” he wrote.

In 2019, Snitker put him in the bench for misadventures on the basics, when he did the same thing as Kelenic. Acuña, however, decided to stay at the first goal after realizing that the ball was not released as he had hoped.
“He did not run,” said Snitker at the time, via ESPN. “You have to run. It will not be acceptable here.”
Now, Kelenic’s demotion to Triple-A Gwinnett is not directly in correlation with its lack of agitation, but rather its lack of production to start the 2025 season. It only strikes 0.167 with a .531 ops in 65 appearances to the plate so far.
Formerly one of the best hopes of the MLB with the New York dishes, Kelenic did not have the best time in the Bigs, which started with the Seattle Mariners as part of the trade for puts closer to Edwin Diaz and the old Met Robinson Cano.
