- Nine out of 10 Spanish employees report high productivity

According to the Japanese company of technology for transforming the Ricoh workplace, Spain directs the wave of productivity in Europe, 92% of Spanish employees reporting high productivity.
Consequently, the country’s GDP increased by 3.2% last year, reflecting a strong economic dynamic, compared to the United Kingdom, which has only experienced 0.9% GDP growth.
The worst growth is linked to the country’s productivity, the United Kingdom and Ireland ranking sixth among the six countries compared to Ricoh’s analysis.
United Kingdom productivity is late on other European nations
The report reveals how employees of the United Kingdom and I are more than twice as likely to consider themselves unproductive compared to their Spanish counterparts.
Only one (28%) (28%) employees of employees and I believe they have the right tools for transparent collaboration – the lowest among the countries questioned. Ricoh has linked productivity gaps to the availability (or absence) of modern workplace technologies, 40% of European workers agreeing that better document management software could improve their productivity.
The chief strategy of Ricoh Europe and the sales manager Caroline Bright commented: “Our research shows that the equipment of good technology employees is essential to unlock their full potential and stimulate productivity.”
Communication and collaboration tools (37%) and automation software (36%) have also been highlighted as key areas where companies could invest more.
In France and Germany, which were slightly ahead of the United Kingdom and Ireland, but behind Spain, Italy and the Netherlands, business leaders have noted that obsolete technology is the largest obstacle to employee technology.
“While the dynamics of the workplace are evolving and companies renew their concentration on the office, it is more important than ever to provide employees with the tools they need to work and collaborate effectively,” added Bright.
Bright has continued to explain that companies wishing to act now to modernize their work technology will be in the best position to fill the productivity gap in the future.
