The New York giants retaliated on President Donald Trump on Monday after saying that he had told the team to continue running Saquon Barkley before leaving for the Eagles of Philadelphia.
Barkley and some of his Eagles teammates were in the White House to celebrate their victory for the Super Bowl Lix.

“By the way, I must tell you something,” said Trump, discussing Barkley’s great feat against Jacksonville’s Jaguars, where he made a defender. “I was with the giants and the head coach and some people and I said:” Do everything you need, but don’t lose Saquon. “They lost Saquon.
“It was not good. I called this one. It was easy to call because he played very well for the giants. I can tell you. He made the right decision because it is a team sport, and there are great people in this team.”
However, the remark did not seem to sit well with Big Blue.

The spokesperson for the Giants, Pat Hanlon, told the Sports head-on “that there were no conversations” between the organization and Trump about the star. Hanlon also pointed out on Trump’s comments on social networks.
“With all the respect I owe you, stop Yappar. Be the leader we all want you to be. And my 401k wants you to be. I try to retire !!” He added X, marking the president’s account.
Barkley spent time with the president on Sunday. He was seen on Trump’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, before returning to Washington with the president of Air Force One.
He defended his decision to launch him with Trump in a post before the celebration of the White House.
