The American Department of Education noted that the University of Pennsylvania had violated title IX by allowing the TRANS Lia Thomas athlete to compete in the female swimming team, he announced on Monday.
A pair of former female swimmers from Upenn who have experienced the experience of sharing a swimming pool and changing rooms with Thomas opened on what the recent declaration of the administration of President Donald Trump means for them.
Conservative influencer Paula Scanlan, who was one of the first of Thomas teammates to express themselves against school, told PK Press Club Digital that the news “excited it”, but she is also skeptical about her impact.

The former swimmer of Upenn, Grace Estabrook, told PK Press Club Digital that she hoped that more serious measures are taken.
“I am grateful to this administration for their leadership on these questions, and I hope to see soon responsibility for all those who have held apart while the male athletes have deprived us of the female athletes of our opportunities and violated our rights in our locker room.
“I am grateful that the federal government noted that Penn had violated title IX, just as we said to Penn in the 2021-2022 season when they forced us to take a shower and compete with a man. The conclusion of the government of sex discrimination is an important first step, but the protection of female athletes cannot stop here. The men of our sports and our sports.

PK Press Club Digital contacted the University of Pennsylvania to comment.
The University is currently being continued by Estabrook and two of its other former teammates, Margot Kaczorowski and Ellen Holmquist, on the situation of Thomas.
The trial also appoints Ivy League and NCAA, citing their experience with Thomas and the treatment of institutions of the situation. The costume also seeks to cancel all Thomas’ distinctions in the women’s category.
