Houston Astros’ second goal player Jose Altuve asked Manager Joe Espada to get him out of the head for a particular reason.

Altuve, 34, plays on the left this season for the first time in his career after spending the first 14 years of his career to the second goal.

The astros star asked to be abandoned from the head of the head because he needed a little more time to prepare to strike because of the race furthest from the pirogue on the outside field than his old point at the second base.

“I just need 10 more seconds,” said Altuve.

Altuve was transferred to the outer field after the departure of aerobatman Kyle Tucker and the third base player Alex Bregman.

The Astros match against the Tigers of Detroit on Monday was the first time since 2023 that Altuve struck in a place other than the head, when he reached second place. The Second stop Jeremy Pena hit her head in her place.

“I just told Joe that he can perhaps hit me in second position at some point, and he did it today,” said Altuve. “I just need this little extra time to come from the left field, and he decided to put Jeremy (over there).”

“I like to play baseball,” said Altuve. “I love playing, especially with these guys. I like to be in alignment. In the end, it doesn’t really matter if I play second or left, whether I lead or not. I just want to be in the alignment and help this team win.”
