Cam Newton, a unique NFL MVP, delivered a blunt message to Shedeur Sanders on his podcast earlier this week after the drama surrounding the slide from the recovery of the college star.
The Cleveland Browns selected Sanders in the fifth round of the draft on Saturday. Sanders was to be the earliest the choice of the first five.

Newton theorized on the podcast “4th and 1” why Sanders fell and offered advice to the young quarter-arre which must now go up the depth of the Browns to obtain a starting place.
“Sheder Sanders, this message is directed to you,” said Newton. “Head with work, not the installation. I think he has taken the character from a database base (defensive back), not a QB. As DB, you can do certain things. You can speak loudly and be exuberant and have this bravado. As a quarter, reminder, you are the CEO of this franchise.
“You have, what I labeled, the Super Six that you have to sink. No. 1, the owner, n ° 2, the director general, n ° 3, the head coach, n ° 4, the position coach, n ° 5, the players, and also n ° 6, the fans.”

Newton predicted that Sanders would take a start for the Browns this coming season.
“This is the best situation for SheDer’s because he has to hang on to the top,” said the former Carolina Panthers star. “Does he have the ability to do it? Absolutely. What if I am in his camp, I tell him, like:” Brother, let’s get to work. Let’s control what we can control now. “I see SheDer Sanders starting for the Cleveland Browns at some point this year.”

Sanders will have to pass in front of Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel to get there.
