CAA closes certain parts of airspace

Karachi:

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has closed certain parts of the Pakistani airspace until May 31 and published an opinion to the airmen (NOTAM) concerning the restrictions.

According to the NOTAM, specific segments of the Karachi and Lahore airspace – the air routes – will remain closed daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., between May 1 and May 31. However, Sundays are exempt from these restrictions.

Affected air routes will be temporarily unavailable during these hours. The NOTAM specifies that thefts will always be allowed to operate on these routes at other times between altitudes of 9,000 and 25,000 feet.
