150 blocked trucks allowed to cross India

Islamabad:

Pakistan granted Thursday 150 blocked Afghan trucks carrying goods so that India crosses the border of Wagah, which softens a bottleneck of several weeks.

According to a document published Thursday by the ministry, a request made by the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad on April 28 concerning the containers blocked at various transit points in Pakistan.

“The ministry has the honor of informing that, taking into account the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the government of Pakistan has decided to allow blocked Afghan trucks, transporting goods in transit to India.”
