King Charles is now ready to talk about his cancer experience because he seemed to have exceeded the initial sorrow.
According to a former royal gardener, the monarch wants to connect with other people going through the same trip.
Talk to GB News, Former royal gardener Jack Stokes said he was encouraging to see the king open, adding that it made people feel closer to him.
The king recently shared a message with cancer patients, qualifying the diagnosis of frightening and crushing time, but also the one who shows the kindness and strength of people.
By saying that the monarch is “made in mourning”, Stokes noted that he was “incredible” to see Charles sharing his trip with the public.
“I think it has also helped the country to warm it up much more than they have done when it was diagnosed for the first time,” he said.
Charles continued: “He came out directly and publicly told everyone what was going on and that he had to take leave of his royal functions.
“I think the meaning is exactly what we have talked about: with him now having a personal cancer person, it is very significant for him.
“He knows people who have had cancer, who suffered, and he lost friends and family. We can all appreciate it and recognize it in our own circles.
“It has really brought him to his heart. He is a great supporter of many charities in the United Kingdom. He has done a fantastic job for these charitable organizations.”
He has also added: “I have already said it, and he is constantly working to ensure that his charities are collecting funds to help support all the causes on which they concentrate, whether to help children bring jobs or the king’s foundation. There are so many other charities.
“But I think that having had horrible cancer diagnosis this year, and who now lives with cancer, is important. We have been told that the princess of Wales is in remission, but he still lives with cancer and will undergo treatment. So, he sees it on a weekly base.”
