The manufacturer of Chinese laptops Chinese Chuwi has announced a new version of its Corebook X notebook, powered by an Intel Core i9-13900HK “Raptor Lake” processor.
This chip was released at T1 2023 and at 14 cores and 20 traces and can reach clock speeds up to 5.4 GHz. It is delivered with integrated intel -IRIS graphics, it will therefore offer reasonable performance for tasks such as content creation, productivity and light games.
However, it is a shame that there is no discreet GPU option for those who need more graphic punch.
Reasonably light
The new CoreBook X I9-13900HK A 32 GB of RAM DDR4, upgraded at 96 GB and an SSD PCIe of 1 TB. You can add a second SSD M.2 2280 if you need more storage.
The laptop measures approximately 12 x 9 x 0.7 inches and has a 14 -inch 2K IPS display (2160 x 1440) with a 3: 2 appearance ratio which covers 100% of the SRGB color range and offers a screen / body ratio of 85%. It weighs 3.09 lb (1.4 kg) and has a backlit keyboard and a 5.8-inch touchpad.
CoreBook X I9-13900HK comes with a 46.2Wh battery, which, according to Chuwi, will provide up to 8 hours between the costs. The quick loading support allows it to reach 60% in less than an hour. The laptop cooling system has double copper pipes and a dedicated fan to keep the temperature down when it is under load.
It is delivered with a complete USB-C port, two USB 3.0, HDMI type A ports, a 3.5 mm audio socket and a microSD card slot. Wireless connectivity is Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
There is not yet a word on prices or availability, but the CoreBook X I9-13900HK should be launched in the coming months.
