Sean “Diddy” Combs makes a major legal decision before the trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs takes a final legal decision before the trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs has just expanded his legal team before his planned trial.

The Disgrace music magnate included a new lawyer, named Xavier R. Donaldson, before his trial on sex trafficking.

Donaldson is a lawyer based in New York, who has filed an appearance notice that he would be part of the Combs defense team.

According to People magazine, the legal representative has had its own practice since 2023 and has been working for 24 years in a company in New York.

In addition, he graduated in law from Howard University, by coincidence, the same institute that Combs studied business before abandoning to pursue music.

Donaldson’s team would be led by Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos and is also made up of Brian Steel, who represented the young thug during his Rico trial in Georgia.

Neama Rahmani, a lawyer in California who is not involved in the case, said PEOPLE Magazine, “It is not uncommon to add lawyers in a long and complex case like this, even on the eve of the trial.”

“Combs has almost unlimited money and the trial will last for weeks, so the defense may need additional fire power. Some lawyers can also manage the call if Combs is condemned, not the trial itself,” she added.

For the essentials, Sean “Diddy” Combs, which is currently detained, should appear to the judge on May 5, before the Federal Court of Manhattan due to charges of sexual traffic, racketeering and transport to engage in prostitution.

If it is proven guilty, it could potentially purge the perpetuity imprisonment.
