- G1 / G1 Pro Mini PC of Minisforum takes its signals for the design of the Sony game console
- The device supports the RTX 5060 GPU from office class with a draw up to 120W
- It is powered by a Ryzen processor 9,8945hx and 350W PSU in a case of the size of a console
During the recent spring of Japan IT Week event, the Mini PC Maker Chinese Minisforum unveiled two fascinating new systems: MS-A2, which is monitoring of the AMD Ryzen 9,9955hx processor super fast (but really the spiritual successor of MS-01), and the G1 / G1 Pro Mini PC.
It is just to say that the latter takes more than a few design signals from the Sony PlayStation 5, with a white chassis oriented vertically and a strip of black E / S mounted in the center which closely imitates the emblematic silhouette of the PS5.
Spotted by PC watchThe G1 / G1 PRO is the latest system adapted to the ministerum living room intended for players who want office level power in a console style shape factor. The thin and vertical unit – which should be published in the third quarter of 2025 – is the direct successor of Atomman G7 Ti of MinisForum.
Not just for the game
The standard function of the new mini PC is supported by a GEFORCE RTX 5060 graphics card in office class (up to 120W), installed using a low slot configuration with low profile. MinisForum says users may possibly upgrade the GPU themselves.
Inside, the system is powered by the Ryzen 9,8945HX processor of AMD, which makes it well suited to the requirement of workloads – or other creative tasks, if you like the PS5 look, but you are not in the game.
The storage medium includes up to two SSD M.2, and there is an integrated 350W power to help reduce cables in a multimedia center configuration.
Despite its compact size (216 x 315 x 57.2 mm), the G1 series offers two 3.2 Gen 2 USB ports type C, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Ports Type A, HDMI 2.1, two DisplayPort 1.2, 5 Ethernet Gigabit outputs and audio E / S sockets.
By combining console style design with real game material, Minisforum aims to provide a compact alternative to traditional towers without compromising performance or upgrading.
Prices and world availability have not yet been announced, but, as with the MS-A2, more details are expected soon.
