Pakistan, Oman agrees to cooperate in the fight against drug trafficking

Interior Minister Mohin Naqvi arrived in Muscat during an official day visit to discuss increased cooperation with Oman in the fight against drug trafficking and human smuggling.

When he arrived at the airport, Naqvi was welcomed by senior officials from the Oman Interior Ministry, notably secretary Khalid Bin Hilal Bin Saud al-Busaidi, Pakistan ambassador to Oman Syed Naveed Safdar Bokhari and other dignitaries.

During a meeting with secretary al-Busaidi, Naqvi expressed the intention of Pakistan to extend cooperation with Oman in the initiatives of counter-knock and anti-human traffic.

Al-Busaidi welcomed Naqvi warmly and recognized the importance of bilateral coordination.
