The NFL draft will be held at the National Mall in 2027, President Donald Trump said on Monday, waiting for more than a million people to come to the event during his three days.
Trump spoke to the right of the office resolved in the oval office of the White House. The NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, the owner of the Washington commanding team Josh Harris, and the mayor of DC Muriel Bowser thanked the president for his cooperation to help conclude the agreement.

“The project has really become one of the major entertainment and sports events,” said Goodell. “More than a week ago in Green Bay, we had more than 600,000 people.
“Not only do we believe that it is an excellent site, but we think it is coherent with what the president said, who invests in our communities and invests specifically here in the national capital. … We think we can have a huge impact on this community. It will not only be an event.”

Harris described this as “good day for Washington”. He presented a commanding jersey to the president and called Trump the “ultimate commander”.
The project was, at some point, a permanent element at the radio City Music Hall in New York. The event took place in one day. However, while the NFL took the project on the road, the event went three days. Chicago welcomed it in 2015-2016 with Philadelphia and Dallas hosting it after that.
GOODELL announced home choices in the 2020 draft due to the coronavirus pandemic. Cleveland, Las Vegas, Kansas City and Detroit have it afterwards.

Pittsburgh will be the host site next year.
