NYT TODAY Connections (Game # 695) – Answers
The answers to today’s connections, the game # 695, are…
- Yellow: Silence Calm, silent, peace, always
- Green: tennis competition units Game, match, set, tournament
- Blue: relatively small Baby, compact, minute, toy
- Purple: starting with synonyms to “tease” Kidney, mocking bird, razzmatazz, ribbon
- My note: Easy
- My score: Perfect
I thought there was a group on teasing today, but in mine, I had a toy and a baby rather than the intelligent gathering to start with synonyms to “tease”.
I love that the connections present this kind of pun, I just want me to see it more easily.
I got today’s groups in order of difficulty, which always makes me feel a feeling of inner peace. The words of silence came quickly; My only doubt was originally thinking that they had something to do with meditation and this set belonged to the gang.
The tennis competition units were also easy thanks to the declaration of the referee of “Game, Set and Match” permanently engraved on our brain, whether we loved tennis or not.
Personally, I entered and left. I like anger attacks more than real games.
How did you do today? Let me know in the comments below.
Responsible for yesterday’s NYT connections (Monday May 5, match # 694)
- Yellow: Glide Coast, cruise, drift, float
- Green: associated with Count Dracula Bat, cap, castle, croc
- Blue: Stop changing Flatten, level, tray, adjust
- Violet: long and cylindrical things Baton, cigar, hoagie, torpedo
What is NYT connections?
Nyt Connections is one of the many increasingly popular puns produced by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four elements that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite hard and generally very difficult.
On the positive side, you do not technically need to resolve the last, because you can respond to it by an elimination process. In addition, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you a little breathing margin.
However, it is a little more involved than something like Wordle, and there are a lot of opportunities so that the game makes you trip with towers. For example, pay attention to homophones and other word games that could disguise the answers.
It is playable for free via the NYT games site on the desktop or mobile.
