Led by executive president Michael Saylor, Strategy (MSTR) added modestly to his Bitcoin holdings last week.
The company bought 1,895 BTC for $ 180.3 million, an average price of $ 95,167 each, according to a SEC Monday morning file.
Purchases were financed via sales $ 128.5 million in ordinary shares and $ 51.8 million in STRK privileged shares. The sale of ordinary shares notably used the rest of the $ 21 billion MSTR 2024 offer for implementation. Last week, MSTR presented a new ATM offer of $ 21 billion.
The strategy now holds 555,450 bitcoin bought for $ 38.08 billion, an average price of $ 68,550 each. At the current Bitcoin price around $ 94,000, holdings are worth north of $ 52 billion.
The MSTR is 2.7% lower in premature action.
