The American Airline Company Globalx website has recently been degraded, threatening actors behind the attack saying they also stole sensitive files.
The breach was reported by 404 media After spotting a message on the home page of the website, apparently left by pirates calling themselves anonymous.
“Anonymous has decided to enforce the judge’s order since you and your Sycophant staff ignore the legitimate orders that go against your fascist plans,” said the message.
Default configurations
Globalx Air is one of the main airlines used by the Trump administration for this purpose, and during the attack, Anonymous would have stolen flight files and passenger manifests for all customers, illegal immigrants included.
The group shared information with certain media members on their own initiative, added 404 media, also saying that the information could be used to provide “a granular overview of which was expelled exactly on global flights, when and where”.
When Anonymous said he “applied the judge’s order”, he referred to several legal decisions which confirmed that some people should not have been expelled to El Salvador and who ordered the Trump administration to bring these people.
At the time of the press, the website was no longer degraded and showed the usual destination page.
Anonymous is not a piracy collective organized in the same direction as Conti, or CL0P, for example. It is an informal group of pirates and hacktivists, who often plan their raids on anonymous forums (such as 4chan, for example) and target governments, societies and institutions which they consider to be corrupt or oppressive.
Given the message left on Globalx, it seems that the airline has been targeted due to its involvement in the deportation of illegal foreigners from the United States in Venezuela and other countries. One of the Trump administration agendas is the expulsion of people who have entered the United States illegally, in particular those linked to gangs or who otherwise have legal lockers.
