Smokey Robinson has just involved a lawyer to help him fight against sexual allegations against him.
On May 6, four former anonymous housekeepers of the emblematic musician, according to the alias Jane Doe, accused him of rape and attack them several times during their work warrant for him.
Lawyer Christopher Frost, representing the Be with you Singer, published a statement to PEOPLE Magazine, considering accusations as “a ugly method to try to extract money from an 85 -year -old American icon”.
He also declared that his team “would address the many aspects of the complaint that defy credulity as well as the problems linked to the alleged deadlines, inconsistencies and relations between complainants and others”.
Frost, who also represents Robinson’s wife, Frances, said that the producer “would respond in his own words” in time, and will soon file a legal response to the court.
“We ask anyone who follows this case to reserve the judgment because the evidence is revealed and that all the real facts of the case take place,” said Frost.
“We will ask the court to reject the trial. We will also ask the court to face what in their statements to the press about Mr. Robinson, the applicant’s lawyers have reached beyond the limits of freedoms that even lawyers are generally authorized in this context,” he concluded.
