- According to rumors, the RX 9060 XT of AMD is launched in mid-May, although the GPU is not on sale before June
- A well -known Youtube leak thinks that the 9060 XT will be well stored upon arrival
- Expect quantities similar to the RX 9070 XT launch, and this could be a problem for Nvidia, which is struggling to obtain RTX 5060 Ti models
The RX 9060 XT Graphics Card of AMD – which is still only the rumor would be that the next family for the RDNA 4 family – will have supposed to have healthy stock levels when it arrives.
This is the conclusion of Moore’s law is dead (Mlid), a leak on YouTube which regularly provides gossip linked to the GPU and the processor.
Mlid cites several sources, the first of which is based outside the United States and believes that there will be a very good ” GPU RX 9060 XT offer, although no number of companies is given (by these sources, I should add).
A second source in a large online retailer in the United States claims that the launch of the stock for this AMD graphics card is “very optimistic” and another source (also in the United States) supports it.
It seems a little more vague than the youtuber normally, but nevertheless, there is clearly a positive atmosphere around the amount of stock in AMD capable of gathering for the RX 9060 XT. Indeed, Mlid stresses that this should be a launch similar to the RX 9070 XT, which has arrived in decent number as you may remember. (Although due to demand, the GPU was always sold very quickly, or at least models at the PDSF or nearby).
The warning that Mlid adds is that the United States can be slightly less well provided for the 9060 XT than other countries, or at least it is a possibility.
Another point addressed here is that the 9060 XT will probably not affect the stock of 9070 XT of AMD in the near future, according to the best estimate of Youtuber.

Analysis: Should Nvidia worry? It looks like that
It is certainly logical for me that the Stock RX 9070 XT (or Vanilla 9070) does not suffer due to the launch of this third RDNA 4 GPU (not to mention the GRE, which is only in Asia, for the moment anyway). Indeed, the two existing graphics cards use the Navi 48 chip, while the 9060 XT is built around a different engine, the Navi 44 GPU.
Thus, this last chip will not cannibalize the first (not directly, anyway). And also because there are more benefits to make on more expensive 9070 models – the XT in particular – it is not logical that AMD would like to miss this (by sacrificing a 9070 production in favor of the 9060 XT).
If AMD can indeed provide the RX 9060 XT in decent quantity, as suggested here, it will be a problem for Nvidia, which is struggling to obtain its RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards – which Team Red’s Inbound RDNA 4 GPU should compete – on the shelves in a real number.
Yes, you can find RTX 5060 Ti models on sale, and there are some flavors of the 8 GB version in the United States today. However, it is no longer the reflection of the general unpopularity of this GPU – and even then, the cheapest that you will get is always 10% compared to the PDSF. With the RTX 5060 TI 16 GB the best received, I could only spot one in the United States (all this is at the time of writing), but this time, it is 15% compared to the recommended price, so you pay a premium.
What we still don’t know is the RX 9060 XT PDSF, of course. Indeed, as indicated at the beginning, this GPU is not even officially confirmed yet, not to mention the price. All we know is that there is a kind of new DNA graphics card 4 to come this quarter, although with the weight of rumors at this stage, it is almost certain to be 9060 XT.
The price will be essential, of course, and Mlid estimates that AMD will present the RX 9060 XT between $ 329 and $ 379 in the United States (and online elsewhere). It is also for the 16 GB version of the graphics card, not the variant of 8 GB (which will be launched next to it, at least according to certain speculations). At the lower end of this pricing scale, this could be a killing at Nvidia in the lower-range space of range (again, depending on how the performance takes place).
There are too many unknowns to be too excited, and to look at the overall image – and where Nvidia is with its RTX 5060 models – I fear that there is not a lot of engine so that AMD has to launch its new participant in the GPU scene towards the most convincing end of the range of rumors.
What Nvidia has in its favor at the moment is that if the vine is expecting AMD to launch the RX 9060 XT very soon – on May 21, in fact – these graphics cards may not really be on the shelves before June. As always, load the seasoning with all this. What we know is that NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 (NVI) will be sold on May 19, but once again, its 8 GB of loading VRAM (at all levels) is controversial, just as with this version of RTX 5060 Ti today.
