The push in South Asia, triggered by the reckless Missiles of India and drone strikes against Pakistan since May 7, has sent a wave of serious concerns and anxiety through the world capitals, while world leaders rush to contact Pakistani Leadership to help defuse increased tensions.

Al-Jubeir arrived in Pakistan during a day visit.

According to an official document, the Saudi Minister of State called Prime Minister Shehbaz. The meeting was also followed by the chief of the general army Asim Munir, the deputy prime minister Ishaq Dar, the Minister of the Interior Mohin Naqvi and others.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister responded to his best wishes to King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

He appreciated the diplomatic efforts of the Saudi government to reduce tensions in the region and establish peace in South Asia.

The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction with the progress of long -standing relations between the two fraternal countries and thanked Saudi Arabia for its unshakable support in Pakistan in all difficult moments.

Discussing the current situation in South Asia, the Prime Minister strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks from India against Pakistan, which led to the martyrdom of several innocent civilians, including women and children and material damage.

“The Prime Minister stressed that the uninsured and unjustified aggression of India was a clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan and was a serious threat to regional peace and stability,” the statement said.

“The Prime Minister paid tribute rich to the courageous forces of Pakistan, which has shown courage and bravery exemplary to defend the fatherland and thwart the harmful creations of the enemy,” he added. “He said that Pakistan is fully determined to defend its sovereignty and its territorial integrity.”

The Prime Minister, according to the document, said that Pakistan was very right to take self -defense measures in accordance with article 51 of the United Nations Charter. Al-Jubeir expressed sincere condolences on the loss of the precious life of Pakistani citizens.

He said Saudi Arabia was deeply concerned about the current situation in South Asia. He reiterated the call of Saudi Arabia to a reduction in tensions and the resolution of all unanswered disputes between Pakistan and India in accordance with international law and the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

Earlier, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, DAR had talks with Al-Jubeir at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which covered the “full specter” of bilateral relations. They also exchanged prospects on the evolution of the regional situation, he added.

DAR congratulated the constructive diplomatic efforts of Saudi Arabia in the promotion of peace and stability in the region.

The two parties have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen proven and fraternal links between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Meanwhile, speaking of its various counterparts, Dar informed them of the deterioration of the regional situation due to the illegal and unlikely attacks from India against several Pakistani cities. He stressed that Pakistan had shown restraint to these violations of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister told world leaders that regional peace and security were in danger due to India and stressed that the Government of Pakistan was determined to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
