Blake Shelton kissed the tasks of the stepfather with all his heart.
Since he married Gwen Stefani, Shelton helped his sons Kingston, 18, and Zuma, 16, perfect their musical talents, even having them play in his bar and his restaurant, Ole Red, in Oklahoma.
“When they go up up there, you assume they have been doing this for 10 years. They are very comfortable and have not shaken at all,” said Shelton People.
“They have three professional musicians in their lives and grew up standing on the side of the scenes looking at all their lives, so they have in their minds how to be when they go out – but guy, I was certainly not so calm when I would be on stage,” said Shelton about Kingston, Zuma and Apollo, who grew up in Stadiums.
While Kingston and Zuma are both in music, they are in different types of music. Zuma is in country music like Shelton and plays more in his bar.
“This particular place makes more sense for Zuma. He looks at Country music about 150%,” said Shelton. “He is a fan of older country music and new country music, which was crazy enough for us to see.”
“I never try to force my music. I think it’s just accidentally throughout his life, when he goes up in the truck with me somewhere, he can’t help but hear the station I have,” he added.
