The Cleveland Browns began the Minicamp recruit on Friday, and the Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders’ quarter -recruit took the ground for the first time.
Gabriel was selected in the third round, while Sanders was chosen in the fifth round after an unprecedented slide. Gabriel received the first snaps of the day, but head coach Kevin Stefanski warned too much on this subject.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t look at anything,” said Stefanski, via a transcription of the Browns.

“I think you will see all weekend, going through spring. I mean, we are not paying too much attention to who is in this first snapshot.”
Stefanski said he thought that “the two guys had done a good job” but did not engage in who would get the first snaps in Saturday training.
The Browns head coach insisted so as not to look “too in” which receives the first snaps, and that the team has a plan.

“There is a lot of time by September, so we will have a plan. But it is a global assessment.
The Browns have five quarters on their list without a starter of the week 1 clear. Deshaun Watson again broke his Achilles tendon in January after having undergone surgery on this same tendon in October 2024, and his status for the next season is in doubt.

The Browns acquired Kenny Pickett in a business with the Eagles of Philadelphia and signed Joe Flacco to a one -year contract before the draft of the NFL. With the additions of Gabriel and Sanders in an already excited quarter room, it remains to be seen who will get the head sign of week 1.
