Modi faced with global humiliation: Fazl

Peshawar:

The head of Jui-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that after Pakistan’s energetic response to Indian assault, Prime Minister Narendra Modi faces global humiliation with his days in the political arena which is now numbered.

Addressing a gathering in Peshawar against India and Israel on Sunday, Fazl noted that Modi wanted to bring out the political mileage of the pahalgam incident, but its conspiracy to undermine Pakistan failed.

Activists killed 26 tourists in a cheeky attack in the Indian Pahalgam region occupied cashmere on April 22.

India immediately blamed Pakistan for the incident and May 7 has targeted several locations inside Pakistan. He also sparked drone attacks across the country on May 9 while targeting a number of Pakistani air bases in the short hours of May 10.

A few hours after the Indian attack on air bases, the Pakistan armed forces launched the Bunyan-a-Marsoos operation-a massive attack that amazed India, forcing it to offer a cease-fire by the evening of May 10.

Speaking with reference to the operation, the head of Jui-F declared that Pakistan had not attacked India, but he only responded to the Indian assault. He said that if Modi never made the mistake of shooting a rocket towards Pakistan, the country will respond by pulling 100 rockets.

“Pahalgam’s incident was used to undermine Pakistan. However, Modi has failed in its attempt. Now, its days are counted and it is now faced with global humiliation,” he added.

The head of Jui-F noted that after the pahalgam incident, India suspended the Water Treaty in Indus (IWT). He said that this treaty could not be suspended or canceled unilaterally.

Fazl noted that as part of the water sharing agreement, three rivers were given to India while two stayed with Pakistan. “However, if the treaty is canceled, we will also respond to the terrorism of India water and we will grasp the five rivers,” he added.

According to Fazl, the recent confrontation with India had proven that India and Israel were standing together. He urged the government of Pakistan to come forward in favor of the people of Gaza and Palestine.

Maulana compared Israel with a dagger who, he said, was plunged into the heart of Arab Muslims. He said that Israel had committed a genocide in Gaza in the name of a defensive war.

He said he meant to the leaders of everyone Muslim that Pakistan would not leave their Palestinian brothers alone. He urged the Arab countries to announce their support to the Palestinians.
