Ryan Phillippe could have everything to become Anakin Skywalker – but his age disqualified him for the role.
The star, known for Cruel intentionsremembered that he had almost played the successful character Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of clones.
“Being a child born in the 70s, I said to myself:” What a dream that would have been “,” he said Variety.
But, an age gap between him and Natalie Portman, who plays Padmé Amidala, led him from the race.
“But I think things happen for a reason and it is easy to make peace with that,” he continued.
“A part of what we have to develop as an actor is this thick skin that comes from rejection or perhaps things do not happen as you want in a particular project or potential work.”
“So there is an element of being able to let go and not spending too much time thinking about these things”, the 50 -year -old man.
Apart from that, Ryan recalled how he “made the bad movement” by depicting characters in films, which were killed in the end, leaving him unable to return to the restarts.
“I thought it was cool. I said to myself:” If I could take a character at their last moment. “Now I say to myself,” What do you think?
