SuitableThe spin-off of the west coast of the extremely successful show Costumeswill not have a second season. This makes it the second Costumes Spin-off to be canceled since Pearson was canceled last year.
The original Costumes was a huge success and presented Meghan Markle, becoming the essential program of 2023 when she went from Broadcast television to Netflix. It was the number one streaming show for 12 consecutive weeks. But Netflix chose not to buy this spin-off, it was therefore not exposed to the same potential general public as the original show.

Why spin-offs do not last
While the Hollywood Reporter shared the news of SuitableCancellation, it did not go in the reasons. But like his spin-off colleague PearsonThe reason is almost certainly bad visualization figures.
As TVLine reported it last year, Pearson Only 513,000 viewers were on average – half of the audience Costumes Season 9, and lower than all the dramas of the USA network except a USA at the time (the exception was the last season of Mr. Robotwhich had 360,000 viewers on average). The show is currently seated with only 39% of criticisms on Rotten Tomatoes, and only 54% of the public. As the AV club said: “There is no way to make it sugar: Suitable is a disaster. In any imaginable ways, this ramification fails to capture the airy attraction of the original. “”
The first and only season of Suitable is currently streaming on Peacock in the United States. Although it is not currently streaming in the United Kingdom, those in Australia can catch it on 7 more.
