- The United States plan to abandon the rule of dissemination of the Biden era
- Export restrictions affected allies as well as worrying countries
- Trump wants to “put an end to past conflicts and forge new partnerships”, including in the Middle East
According to a new report from Morning post in southern ChinaThe Trump administration plans to cancel the Diffusion rule of the Biden era, which has been introduced to restrict the spread of ia fleas abroad.
The announcement came from the AI of the White House and the manager of the Crypto David Sacks, who revealed the change during the Saudi investment forum in Riyadh.
Sacks has explained that Saudi Arabia is not considered a risk of national security, calling for more open technological exports between trusted partners.
The United States will open technological exports to countries of trust
The diffusion rule was part of Biden’s efforts to block access to IA fleas to worrying countries, especially China. Military capacities and Chinese AI were the main cause of concern, the White House feared that the country could not use American semiconductors to advance its own technology.
However, Sacks explained that the rule unnecessarily affected the allies. Now that the United States is looking for closer technological links with the Nations of the Middle East, accelerated by much lower prices than those imposed on China, the export rules must change.
“The Trump administration has just announced that we will cancel what is called Biden’s dissemination rule … It has literally limited the dissemination or proliferation of American technology all over the world,” said Sacks.
Critics also argued that with the export rules in place, the countries were forced to stock up on China technology due to more favorable prices and less restrictions.
“As I have shown several times, I am ready to put an end to past conflicts and forge new partnerships for a better and more stable world, even if our differences can be very deep,” said Trump in an address during the event.
