North Carolina’s football coach Bill Belichick seems to remain cemented in the good graces of sports director Lawrence R. “Bubba” from Cunningham.
The Cunningham department recently denied information saying that Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was effectively prohibited from the UNC athletics department and team buildings.
Tuesday, Cunningham shared some details on the working relationship he built with the former NFL coach.

“Bill was great to work with it,” Cunningham told Espn. “He spoke of practicing like a pro, and he directs a professional organization that teaches students to be professional in all aspects of their lives. He is a very determined and professional individual, and that is how he behaves and the way he leads the program.”

While Cunningham was ready to go into the details of Belichick football relations, it was less to come when questions were raised about Belichick’s personal life. When Cunningham was asked a question suggesting that the presence of Hudson created “distractions”, he bypassed, saying: “Bill is an incredibly targeted person”.

Cunningham made the comments the same day as the appearance of Belichick on ESPN. During the interview, the six -time winner of the Super Bowl said that his romance with Hudson was “on the side”.
“It’s a personal relationship, and she has nothing to do with UNC football,” said Belichick.

The discussion also marked the first 73 -year -old television interview since her infamous Sitdown with “CBS News Sunday Morning”.
The interview was part of a promotional tour for Belichick’s new book, “the art of winning – the lessons of my life in football”. Sometimes during the conversation, Hudson was accused of trying to assert his control.
Hudson was also criticized on his involvement reported in North Carolina by losing the opportunity to appear on HBO “Hard Knocks”. According to athletics, Hudson played an “instrumental role” in HBO drawing the branch on the potential production of docuseries focused on the UNC.
The report also noted that Hudson had asked to be “strongly involved in the project”.
Belichick is publicly linked to Hudson, 24, since 2023. In a statement published after the CBS interview, Belichick said that he had met Hudson during a flight in 2021.
