Islamabad:
The constitutional bench restored the law on the modification of the sales tax for the old Fata and the pata, suspended the previous verdict of the High Court of Peshawar which had canceled the law.
The case concerning the exemption granted under the sixth appendix to the sales tax law for residents of Fata and Pata was heard on Wednesday by the constitutional bench of five members, led by judge Amin-Uud-Din Khan. The other members of the bench were judge Jamal Khan Mandokhail, judge Muhammad Ali Mazhar, judge Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi and judge Shahid Bilal Hassan.
