Lahore:
In order to accelerate the cases of May 9 cases, the anti -terrorist courts will carry out hearings four days a week.
According to the new modified calendar, the anti -terrorist courts will hear the affairs of May 9 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The decision was made at a meeting held on May 9, 2025, following the directives of the Supreme Court of Conclusion of the Business of May 9 in four months.
Earlier, the ATCs carried out these trials three days a week.
Meanwhile, the accusation did not provide the case file against the founder of the PTI, Imran Khan, and other PTI leaders before the anti -terrorist courts during several business hearings on May 9.
The accusation argued that the file had been submitted to the Apex court.
On Wednesday, the accusation did not submit the file of the multiple cases recorded against the PTI chief, Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Wednesday. The accusation argued that they were occupied in prison and were not aware of Qureshi’s surety questions. They looked for time to produce record and advanced arguments.
Qureshi’s lawyer Rana Mudasar said the accusation uses delay tactics to extend trials against his client.
