The NFL published the 2025 calendar for the 32 teams on Wednesday evening, and some teams have a lighter calendar than others.
The league does not have a balanced calendar, which is why some teams will see more difficult or easier schedules, whatever they did last season.
Trying to predict the strength of a calendar is an inaccurate science because the teams change a lot of season in the season, whether in a free agency, the draft of the NFL or changes to the Front Office and the coaches.

However, Washington commanders entered last season with the second force of the calendar and had a high season 12-5, with an appearance of the NFC championship match.
Here are the three teams whose opponents 2025 have the percentage of the lowest combined victories of the 2024 season.
49ers of San Francisco
The 49ers experienced a year of decline last season, going 6-11 after having previously represented the NFC in the Super Bowl LVIII. The team’s calendar this year could be the first step in returning to the playoffs.
The adversaries of San Francisco in 2025 had a percentage of combined victory of 0.415 in 2024.
The 49ers only play four games against teams that made the playoffs last season, with two of these games against their division rival, the Los Angeles Rams.

- Week 3 – Home vs Arizona Cardinals
- Week 4 – Home against Jacksonville Jaguars

- Week 8 – Away against Houston Texans
- Week 9 – Away against New York Giants
- Week 10 – Home VS OS Angeles Rams
- Week 11 – Away against Arizona Cardinals
- Week 12 – Home against Carolina Panthers
- Week 13 – Away against Cleveland Browns
- Week 14 – Bye
- Week 15 – Home VS Tennessee Titans
- Week 16 – Away against Indianapolis Colts
- Week 17 – Home against Chicago Bears

Saint-Orleans saints
The saints have the second easiest calendar, with the percentage of victories combined with their opponents compared to last season at 0.419.
New Orleans comes out of a 5-12 season, and with the recent surprise retirement from the Quart Derek Carr, the team may need an easier calendar to sneak in the playoffs this year.

New England Patriots
The patriots went 4-13 last season and need any help to return to the playoffs in the first season of head coach Mike Vrabel with the team.
The adversaries in 2025 from New England had a percentage of combined victories of .429 in 2024. AFC East should play the NFC South and AFC North this season, which experienced three combined teams in the playoffs last season.
