Yaum-e-tashakkur marked for the armed forces

The butcher of India will no longer dare to take a bad look at Pakistan, said Minister -in -Chief Murad Ali Shah and the provincial cabinet ministers said.

They said that the Pakistani armed forces – army, marine and air forces – broke the arrogance of India in just a few hours, turning what India considered to be its superpower status in a pile of dust.

These remarks were made during the “Yaum-E-Tashakkur” or Thanksgiving Day celebration event organized by the Karachi Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) division in Nishan-E-Pakistan in Sea View, Clifton on Thursday.

As part of the celebration, the Sindh Tourism and Culture Department organized a 40 -foot long tank, where the artists interpreted patriotic songs and paid tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan for their victory. The artists stirred the patriotic fervor among thousands of PPP workers and the office carriers from all Karachi districts by singing national songs.

Speaking during the event, CM Murad Ali Shah thanked the president of the PPP Karachi division, Saeed Ghani, and the Minister of Culture Syed Zulfiqar Shah for organizing the event. “We thank the inhabitants of Pakistan and our armed forces, who gathered everyone in unity,” he said.

“Our soldiers brought the honor to our country and struck Modi so hard that he saw stars in broad daylight,” added the CM. “God wants, the Pakistani nation will always stand up, and the butcher of Gujrat will never even dare to think of the war against Pakistan. He will not even be able to look at us with a bad intention.”

The Minister of Energy, Planning and Development of the Sindh, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, said: “First and foremost, we bow at gratitude before Allahy Allah, who gave us victory over the disbelievers.” He reiterated that the three branches of the Pakistani army humiliated the pride of India, reducing his illusion of superpower to dust.

“Today, while we are celebrating this victory with gratitude to our Lord, we also pay tribute to our martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for this country,” he said.

Sindh’s main minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on May 15 per day of great importance. He said that following the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari, President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur, the Sindh government and the Pakistani peoples party observed the day of victory and the day of Thanksgiving on the other side of the province.

He declared that this triumph will remain memories by future generations as a moment when the soldiers of Pakistan defeated India with courage and resolution.

“He will be recorded in history in gold letters,” he added. Addressing a ceremony to mark the occasion, Sharjeel said: “A clear message was sent to the world that if there is a real super tiger in Asia, it is Pakistan.”

Meanwhile, the senior PPP Faryal Talpur official described the historic victory over India as a symbol of national unity, military value and political harmony.

The event ended with a spectacular fireworks. The event speakers included provincial ministers Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, Syed Zulfiqar Shah, government spokesperson Saadia Javed, Samita Afzal, Ali Rashid, the deputy mayor of Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad and others.
