The Alchemy Blockchain Development Platform said that it had acquired the Solana Dexterlab developer for uncluttered costs.
The acquisition will accelerate the development of web3 applications based in Solana to meet the growing demand for businesses, said ALCHEMY in an announcement sent by email on Friday.
Dexterlab technology previously fueled the development of Solana de Google and the Solana Foundation, establishing itself as “an essential infrastructure provider”, according to the announcement of Alchemy.
One of the objectives of alchemy in the acquisition of Dexterlab is to consolidate the development of Solana alongside that of Ethereum to reduce the complexity for the construction of projects on several networks.
Alchemy can try to grasp the growing importance of Solana as a favorite place for blockchain applications.
While Ethereum remains comfortably the largest blockchain in terms of total locked value, there are measures where Solana can claim the ascendant. For example, the addresses active in Solana have exceeded 210 million in the last three months, while the Ethereum and Ethereum Layer-2 addresses are just below 80 million. Solana transactions have also exceeded Ethereum: 4.75 billion to 1 billion.
