Howard Stern said: if he is not seated in the front row of Madison Square Garden by watching the New York Knicks, so he’s not going at all.

Stern, 71, is not known to be the biggest sports fan, but supports the Knicks, who hold a 3-2 series advance against the defending champion Boston Celtics in the semi-finals of the Eastern Conference.

However, despite the success of the team’s playoffs, Stern will not be part of the Madison Square Garden raucous crowd unless he obtains seats in the front row.

“You can say your place in the show business through where they place you at the Knicks game. The day they put me in the second row, I left. Because I consider myself a first row type”, said Stern on “The Howard Stern Show”.

“I am very aware of where they sit down, and it is very important to me. If they said to me:” Listen, you will not be in the first row: “I would turn around and I would leave. It would be embarrassing for me.”

Stern has an interest in going to a next Knicks match, but will only take care of if his requirements are satisfied.

“I have a huge interest, but I wouldn’t go. I am very embarrassed. I’m waiting for them to invite me,” said Stern.

“I don’t want to take advantage of it and I know that everyone gets out of the woodwork for the finals. I don’t want to be this type. I prefer when the Knicks died last, so I don’t feel guilty to take the tickets because no one wants to go.”

Although he wants to go to a game, if he is invited, the longtime host does not have much confidence in the Knicks withdraw the Celtics and move on.

“I always have the impression that the Knicks will blow. I receive Agita with this team,” said Stern.

The Celtics won match 5 at Boston 127-105 TD Garden, although he did not have the star player Jayson Tatum due to an Achilles injury he suffered at the end of match 4.

The Knicks have another chance to win the series on Friday at 8 p.m. on Friday, when the series goes to Madison Square Garden. The team has not made the conference final since 2000.
