Islamabad:
On Friday, the senators praised the armed forces of Pakistan for having given an appropriate response to the assault of the enemy and sentenced the “fascist and expansionist program” prosecuted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The house, who met here President Sherry Rehman in the president, continued the discussion on current tensions with India. During the session, Senator Dinesh Kumar, which belongs to the Hindu community, announced a donation of 5 million rupees for the families of the martyrs.
At the start of the session, the head of the opposition Shibli Faraz of the PTI complained against the legislators of the ruling party. He said that the session had been called to discuss Indian assault, but some senators spoke out against the PTI chief.
The PML-N parliamentary chief Irfan Siddiqui, while responding to Faraz’s objection, said no one should speak of a leader. He told the House only three times during Thursday’s session, he prevented the senators from talking about anyone.
“Yesterday, I told my party member that we cannot speak on May 9, let’s not speak until May 10. It is not appropriate for us to insult the leaders of the Chamber,” he said. Siddiqui said India was an enemy of democracy. “Modi has shown the harmful designs of the Indian people to attack Pakistan.”
He congratulated people for maintaining unity. “The forces of Pakistan gave an answer adapted to the enemy and India wonders how its planes were killed. The most positive aspect of the aggression of India and the glorious victory of Pakistan is that we and the opposition are on the same wavelength.”
Participating in a debate, Senator Ali Zafar said that the recent Indian assault had once again proven that Pakistan had remained resilient, united and fully able to defend its sovereignty against any form of aggression.
“China was held next to us, and even the neutral states began to question the story of India and recognized the responsible behavior of Pakistan,” he added. He proposed a joint parliamentary committee to monitor water problems and ensure national preparation in future conflicts.
Nasir Abbas said that Modi was a fascist leader and the “butcher of Gujarat”, whose politics was rooted in hatred and fanaticism. “His unsuccessful attempts to crush the cashmere people and provoke regional conflicts have turned against him,” he said. (With application input)
