The Pakistani officer Anum Sher Khan gains an international distinction in Dubai

Pakistan police have obtained significant international recognition while the ASP Anum Sher Khan obtained first place in the “Excellence in criminal surveys” category at the World Police Summit 2025.

According to a Punjab police spokesperson, the prize was awarded to Anum Sher Khan during a prestigious ceremony held at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The prize was awarded by the commander -in -chief of the Dubai police. The agents of 192 countries were evaluated in various categories for their exceptional performance.

Representing Pakistan, ASP Anum Sher Khan impressed international judges by its expertise and professional conduct, finally winning the first honor. The prize recognizes its exceptional contributions in the field of criminal investigation.

The Punjab police inspector general, Dr. Usman Anwar, congratulated Anum Sher Khan for his remarkable realization, declaring: “His success brought pride in Pakistan and the Punjab police on the world stage.”

“Talented officers like Asp Anum Sher Khan will play an essential role in the future police leadership,” he added.

According to Punjab police spokesperson, the world’s police summit is one of the most important and professional global platforms of police leadership. Each year he recognizes officers for their exceptional innovative leadership and police methods.

After rigorous assessments and interviews, the price committee selected two Punjab police officers this year.

The second Honouree, Dpo Kasur Muhammad Essa Khan, received the second position in the category “Best implementation of artificial intelligence in the police” for its exemplary performance.
