A bomb exploded near a thoroughness health establishment in Palm Springs, California, leading to a person’s death, said Mayor Ron Deharte on Saturday.
ABC News, citing sources of application of the law and the establishment, said that at least five people had been injured in the explosion.
The government of Palm Springs City said in an article on Facebook that an explosion had taken place before 11 a.m. PDT (1800 GMT).
“It was identified as a bomb in or near the car,” said Deharte.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Los Angeles declared in an article on social networks that he was investigating the explosion with bombs technicians deployed on the scene.
Palm Springs is around 100 miles (161 km) east of Los Angeles.
California governor Gavin Newsom was informed of the explosion, said his office.
THE Associated Press said the Fertility Clinic for American Reproduction Centers was damaged, but that the staff was safe. AP assigned information to Dr. Maher Abdallah.
