Indiana fever has gone to a red start for the WNBA 2025 season, eliminating the Sky of Chicago, 93-58, behind the Triple-Double of Caitlin Clark.
Clark resumed where she stopped in 2024. The prevailing recruit of the year did everything for a new fever team on her Indianapolis court.
Clark finished the match with 20 points after shooting 6 for 13 on the field with four points made, adding 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead his team to the victory.

She also did it on the defensive, also recording four blocks and two interceptions in 32 minutes.
And while Clark was the top scorer of the team, she had the help of her starting colleagues, including goalkeeper Kelsey Mitchell, whose Savvy with the ball in his hands led to 15 points on a 6 for 12th shot.

Aliyah Boston, who built great chemistry with Clark during the 2024 campaign, also had a double-double, picking up 13 rebounds and 19 points on the shooting of 8 for 12.
Natasha Howard turned out to be a problem in the painting for Chicago, marking 15 points with five rebounds, two assists and three interceptions.
Chicago star Angel Reese had trouble starting the season. She had only 5 out of 14 on the field, even if she led the match with 17 rebounds. She finished with 12 points.

It was a bad day of shooting all around the sky, however. The team pulled 29.1% (23 for 79) against 46.7% of the fever.
This is how the new head coach Stephanie White wanted to launch the season, using Clark to anchor an attack with several score options.
There was a moment during the match, however, when the tensions ran high and Clark was called to a blatant fault after intentionally dirty up in the paint. Reese did not take it lightly, rising from the field and going to Clark, which was not looking for confrontation.

The referees reviewed the common fault and upgraded it in the flagrant after seeing Clark’s left arm seem to push Reese to the back. Reese obtained two free throws with the possession of Chicago conservation.
