Aleema, Kanwal Shauzab Spar with disclosed video

Rawalpindi:

A brief exchange of time took place between the sister of the founder of the PTI, Imran Khan, Aleema Khanum and the former party of the Mna Kanwal Shauzab party on Saturday at the Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court (ATC), following the circulation of a video in which Shauzab was seen criticizing Aleema.

The confrontation took place while Shauzab approached Aleema, saying that she wanted to speak to her.

In response, Aleema said, “Leave it. What you said was right. Many other people talk about us. We are now used to such accusations.”

Shauzab reiterated that she wanted to talk to her about it, encouraging Aleema to answer: “I am not angry with you, 1747537861 go.”

Shauzab said that a specific part of an old video was used against it.

Aleema, however, stressed that the members of PML-N and other parties had also spoken against her in the past. She then moved away, seeming to reject the conversation.

In the recently surface clip, Shauzab can be heard by hearing Aleema criticizing for “party office holders without respect and acting president Gohar Ali Khan”, also claiming that Imran’s sister “should not reduce the party”.

The former MNA would have added that she would personally face Aleema on this subject.

In a separate development, the court rejected a request filed by Aleema requesting an exemption from justice appearances to allow it to travel abroad. The request was rejected by ATC judge Amjad Ali Shah.

Addressing the media outside the courtroom, Aleema said that she regularly appeared before last week’s courts because of what she described as “more recent and more recent cases”, which, according to her, were deposited to hinder her ability to travel.
