The new iPhone 17 air leaks refer to how the super vintage phone can solve its potential lifespan problems

  • Silicon batteries are coming from TDK this year
  • Apple is one of the largest TDK customers
  • Improved batteries could supply air from the iPhone 17

We expect the air of the iPhone 17 to replace the iPhone 16 Plus this year, and it should be super linked – which has raised some questions on the battery life. Now, a new leak suggests that these questions could be answered using new generation silicon battery technology.

According to a Bloomberg report, Battery Maker TDK is ahead of the calendar with a significant upgrade, where silicon is used for the battery anode rather than for conventional graphite. This means that 15% more energy can be packed in the same space.
