Rawalpindi:
FIA immigration has published a political directive for the arrest of people involved in crimes at airports, highlighting a strong coordination between the police to prevent suspects from fleeing abroad.
According to the directive, the names and details of the suspects or people at risk of fleeing abroad must be placed on the stop list, the passport control list or the control list of the Ministry of the Interior and the General Passport and Immigration Directorate.
FIA Immigration will be authorized to stop these people in airports, land and sea routes, he said. The directive stresses that the implementation should be ensured under the laws and regulations.
The Punjab police IG has given orders to the chiefs of police, regions and districts of the province to strictly implement the directive, according to a two -page document seen by the Express PK Press Club.
“The Directorate General for Immigration and Passports, Islamabad, and the Ministry of the Interior, Islamabad, are the only authorities to place or delete the names of the PCL and the CEC,” said the document.
