Islamabad:
The second ministerial meeting of the dialogue platform Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-15) began on Sunday in Tehran, with a strong emphasis on the transforming role of artificial intelligence (IA) in the Islamic world.
The three -day meeting under the theme of “innovation in science and technology by the use of AI: a strategy of excellence, a brilliant future for the Islamic world” aims to promote regional cooperation through scientific diplomacy and dialogue.
Reunion will focus on the progress of science, technology and higher education and to offer the possibility of solving urgent problems in the technology sector, in particular those who have an impact on education, economic growth and innovation.
In this regard, senior officials gathered on Sunday for a preparatory session, co-chaired by Professor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of OIC-Comstech, and Professor Farhad Yazdandust, Deputy Prime Minister of Sciences, Research and Irc’s Technology and head of the International Center for Scientific Cooperation.
