The FBR imposes fees on the Afghan transport trade

Islamabad:

The FBR imposed 10% processing costs on Afghan public transport trade.

According to an FBR notification, electronic costs will apply to five new product categories, including agricultural tools, cranes, electronic scrap metal and data machines.

Sources have indicated that the Ministry of Commerce has recommended the introduction of a bank guarantee and processing costs to prevent the exploitation of lower customs tasks from Afghanistan.

The government has launched a repression of illegal trade under the cover of Afghan transit. The policy aims to improve tax collection and promote transparency.
