Karachi:
The government provided the IMF of radical economic reforms before the 2025-26 federal budget, including the increase in fuel, electricity and gas prices, said those responsible, a decision that should exert additional financial pressure on the public.
From July 1, the government plans to implement a series of budgetary measures aimed at reducing the budget deficit and tackling the growing debt of the country’s energy sector.
These measures include additional samples from petroleum products, a new supplement of debt service on electricity bills and adjustments to gas prices. Electricity prices will be recurred each year, while gas prices should be adjusted twice.
