For the first time in his career, Scottie Scheffler was able to hoist the Wanamaker trophy.

Scheffler survived a fourth round charge of Jon Rahm and kept the Golfers JT Poston and Bryson Dechambeau from a distance to win the PGA championship on Sunday. Scheffler had previously had four top-creq to the Golf Major and missed the Cup entirely in 2022.

After the chaos that occurred in the PGA championship last year, which presented him to be arrested and reserved in prison, Scheffler was able to withdraw the incredible victory. He finished 11 sous.

Scheffler started the Tournament Five Hit behind Colombian Jhonattan Vegas and three shots behind Ryan Gerard. But he played strong in the second round, pulling a 68.

The third round is the place where he started taking control. While a bunch of the best golf stars in the event fell to the edge of the road, Scheffler had an eagle on 14 and seven birdies. He pulled a 65 and it was enough to push him to the top of the classification.

“I’m so proud of you,” his wife told her husband when he came to greet her.

He maintained the dominant rhythm in the fourth round.

Scheffler had four birdies during the day and overcome three Bogeys out of the first nine to win the tournament. He had stewed on 2, 10, 14 and 15.

Rahm got closer to Scheffler at the start of the final round. He pulled a 67 in the third round and had three birdies through the first 11 holes. But the Birdie on 11 was the last of his day.

He was wide on an attempt to peer on the 16th role. This would have kept him with a few scheffle strokes in the section. But the Bogey extended Scheffler’s advance at the end of the tournament,

The Spaniard experienced a more difficult period out of 17, to double the hole and fall even more behind Scheffler.

Dechambeau, Harris English and Davis Riley all finished on the second row with 6 sous. Dechambeau also finished second in the PGA championship last year.

Poston found himself tied in fifth row with Vegas and Taylor Pendrith.
