- The Triple Objective Nubia Z70S Ultra has a 35mm main camera
- The optional Z70 serial Kit effectively transforms the phone into a Leica compact camera
- The kit includes a handle, physical commands and objective filters
The camera kits for smartphones become one thing. They are designed to transform your phone into a compact camera in the form of a camera which is easier to use for photography – to see what I am talking about, consult my Xiaomi 15 ultra long -term revised, in which I unpack the Xiaomi photography kit.
Now Nubia has created her own vision of the concept, with her retro kit of the Z70 series. The kit is compatible with Z70 Ultra and Z70S flagship flagship phones from Nubia, and all the camera kits that I have seen for phones, I think it looks like the room, even if it is collected on Leica’s aesthetics.
The new Z70S Ultra is already a retro style smartphone (see below, without the kit), with a silver effect and a fake leather finish, available in classic black or brown. The retro kit takes things from a notch.
I have not yet used the retro kit, but the addition should transform the manipulation of the phone into something that is similar to some of the best compact cameras like the Ricoh Gr III, with the appearance of a D-Lux 8.
Look at the room
The Ultra Nubia Z70S has a triple camera unit, the main camera being a 35 mm slightly tighter than normal lens, which is completed by a 2X telephoto lens and an ultra-large optical macro.
The phone is powered by an Elite Snapdragon 8 chip, has a large 6.85 -inch AMOLED screen and contains a heavy battery of 6,600 mAh. These are solid specifications; But it is the looks of the phone that distinguish it.
As I mentioned, the Z70S Ultra version is already a retro style handset, but by adding the optional retro kit, you also get a compact camera control.
There is the leather style housing with a socket that should even make a hand to a comfortable hand for photography, as well as a physical tactile shutter that I would expect to give a nice answer for the taking of images (see below).
Next to the shutter button is a control dial which seems to offer various manual commands to the exercise – the equivalent dial in the ultra -Xiaomi 15 photography kit can be used for manual exposure compensation.
Finally, it seems that the case accepts lens filters on the unit of the camera. We do not know which filters will be available, but other creative control options may be possible depending on the filters you can buy.
The idea with these kits is that they can be added for the moments when you take a lot of photos and videos, then deleted when using the phone for other things.
The retro kit of the Nubia Z70 series seems to be one of the best examples to date – I hope to get my hands on it for an appropriate test soon.
