Wyndham Clark experienced a regrettable final at the PGA championship last weekend.
Sunday, the US Open winner of 2023 reacted to a poor starting stroke by dangerously launching his driver in the signaling near the T-shirt. Clark had just ordered a Bogey before hitting his TEE shot on the right on the 16th hole.
Clark did not wait for the shot to land before violently launching the club, which missed a volunteer who was holding a flag.

Clark said on Monday that “his actions were useless” and promised to make improvements.
“I sincerely would like to apologize for my behavior yesterday on hole 16,” said Clark in an article in X. “As professionals, we must remain professional even when they are frustrated and I unfortunately let my emotions take the best of me. My actions were not preliminary and completely inappropriate, clearly indicating that I have things on which I have to work on.”
