- OnePlus announced that the OnePlus Pad 3 will be launched on June 5, 2025
- A company manager said that the company was “confident” that the device will be the “best Android tablet of 2025”
- We are light on specifications at the moment, but we know that the tablet has a snapdragon 8 elite chipset
OnePlus announced that the OnePlus Pad 3, the last in the company’s Android tablets, will be launched on June 5.
The tablet has a redesigned rear panel and is equipped with the Elite Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chipset, the most powerful chipset available for Android devices.
The OnePlus Pad 3 will also be responsible for multitasking open canvas software from the company, which has been updated from the version shipped with PAD 2.
This software allows users to open up to three applications on the screen at any time, and seems to be an offer similar to the Apple stage management function, included with iPados, although with a limit of three applications compared to the four of the iPad.
Commenting on the announcement, Celina Shi, Marketing Director, OnePlus Europe, said: “We are convinced that the OnePlus Pad 3 will be the best Android tablet of 2025!”
It is an ambitious target, but as our review OnePlus Pad suggests, the brand is not unrelated to the production of a flagship tutor ”, and with a decent multitasking and competitive prices, the ONPLUS pad 3 could be a real competitor of the iPad and the basic iPad Air.
The tablet also has compatibility with OnePlus phones, with functions including screen sharing and mirror.
We do not yet have a screen size for the new tablet, but at a glance, the appearance report seems to be the same or similar to OnePlus Pad 2 from last year, which included a 12.1 inch display in an appearance report 7: 5.
Of course, we do not yet have a reference frame for the size of the OnePlus Pad 3 screen, so it could be completely different. OnePlus has not yet published information on prices.
The OnePlus Pad 3 should be launched in a single color – Storm Blue, which seems to be a rather sophisticated blue -gray – although everything we have to continue so far is images published by OnePlus.
Although the tablet is not yet available for pre -order, British customers can reserve a “drop in bonus OnePlus Pad 3” for £ 1. This places a reservation on the tablet itself, and also includes a reduction coupon of £ 50 for the Plap plus 3 as well as a gift code for a double-port Supervooc charger.
This implies that the tablet can support the load power of 80 W or more, as well as the management of Supervooc load technology.
The coupon and the reduction code are specific to the user and only exchangeable with the purchase of a Plap plus 3.
Oppo inspiration?
OnePlus, as a subsidiary of the Chinese company BBK Electronics, is known to inherit the conceptions and technologies of OPPO, another BBK company.
We saw it with the folding OnePlus Open phone, which was actually a renamed version of the Oppo Find N3.
This arrangement seems to be reversed with the ONEPLUS tablets, which generally lend elements of design and equipment to the Oppo tablets which appear later – the Oppo Pad 3 Pro looks surprisingly like the OnePlus Pad 2, for example.
He therefore follows that the PAD OnePlus 3 can give us an idea of what the next Oppo tablet could look like.
It’s just speculation, however. As mentioned, the OnePlus Pad 3 is launched on June 5-let us know what you hope to see in this Android tablet in the comments below.
