- “Pakistan, the sharing approach in China focused on development.”
- Lieutenant-General Chaudhry says that the army is ready to sacrifice life for the country.
Clearly, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), lieutenant-general Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that Pakistan was based on its own strength and determination, and that the role of the international community in the creation of peace depends on the commitment and resolution of the country.
Speaking to China CGTNLieutenant-General Chaudhry said: “The most important thing is the determination of Pakistan and its own strength. After Allah, we count on ourselves and our own power. So, only if we are resolved and have a strong commitment – that we have already shown [in the recent powerful response to Indian aggression] – The international community will also play its full role. »»
He added that the world is confronted today with much greater problems, including climate change, disinformation and an increasing population. In this context, he questioned India’s actions by trying to dominate others on the basis of false affirmations.
“In such a situation, should a country try to impose hegemony on other countries around it on the basis of a false story, without reason and without any evidence?” He asked.
On India’s uninsured aggression, the armed forces of Pakistan launched a large-scale military reprisal action, called “Bunyan-UM-Marsoos” operation “, and has targeted several Indian military targets in several regions on May 10.
The strikes, described by managers as “precise and proportionate”, were carried out in response to the continuous aggression of India through the control line (LOC) and in the territory of Pakistan, which said New Delhi was targeting the “terrorist targets”.
Pakistan has shot down its six fighter planes, including three bursts and dozens of drones. After at least 87 hours, the war between the two nuclear nations ended on May 10 with a cease-fire agreement negotiated by the United States.
According to ISPR, a total of 53 people, including 13 staff of the armed forces and 40 civilians, were martyred in Indian strikes during the recent military confrontation.
The military confrontation between the two countries was launched by the attack on last month at the IIOJK which made 26 downtime tourists, India accusing Pakistan for the attack without offering any evidence.
Referring to the defense forces of Pakistan, Lieutenant-General Chaudhry said: “The Pakistani nation, we have never bowed or never. Because I have already said it and I will say it again – for us, the wish to kiss martyrdom is more loved than to live.
“It is an honor and a privilege for each of us who carries this uniform, whether blue, white or khaki [Pakistan Air Force, navy and army]To die for our homeland. It is the greatest honor.
On regional cooperation and shared objectives, he highlighted the similarities between Pakistan and Chinese approaches in terms of peace and development.
“Pakistan and China, or any responsible country in this world, their first obligation is towards their people. Prosperity and well-being of the people come from peace and stability,” he said.
The two countries have added the best military spokesperson, work for peace, as well as other responsible states, and must continue to fight terrorism, which, according to him, is a key obstacle to development.
“The objective behind terrorism is to stop the same prosperity. We make efforts against this, by ourselves and with the help of our friends,” he said.
Speaking about China’s progress, the head of the ISPR said: “China’s progress in modern history, in a very short time; development and prosperity that China has given to such a important population, I think that the world to see, and it is remarkable.”
He said Pakistan also wanted the same thing – to evolve towards progress and stability. “We owe it to the people of Pakistan and to the future generations of Pakistan, and that is why we always say that our preference is peace.”
Lieutenant-General Chaudhry said peace is celebrated by the people of Pakistan instead of a defeat for India.
“If you see in the streets of Pakistan, you will see people celebrating peace instead of victory. You will see humility in them. We are very earth-to-earth. We bow our heads in humility rather than fighting our chest because we prefer peace. ”
On the internal challenges, he said that Pakistan would now focus against terrorism.
“We must now turn this iron wall [Bunyan-um-Marsoos] – This includes the people, the armed forces and all the elements of national power- towards the threat of terrorism, “he concluded.
